Pledge to Protect Our Parish

The Committee to Stop the Destruction of St. Bernard has launched a new public awareness campaign to inform voters of which candidates in the upcoming election will fight to stop the Port of New Orleans from developing a massive container facility, known as Louisiana International Terminal (LIT), in St. Bernard Parish.  We are asking the candidates who qualify to run in the fall elections to sign the following pledge. We will then show voters who did, and who did not, sign the pledge through a marketing campaign that includes advertising, billboards, direct mail, and social media.

Dear Candidate,

Congratulations on qualifying to run for elected office representing the people of St. Bernard Parish. The Committee to Stop the Destruction of St. Bernard is inviting candidates to sign the following pledge.
